Online Therapy Services

The Digital OT Can Provide the following services:

Assessment and Reports:

  • The Digital OT can provide assessments remotely via secure video conferencing for the following:

    • Sensory Processing (Sensory Profile 2)

    • Motor Skills

    • Evaluating for  developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, neuropsychological disorders, and sensory or physical impairments (ABAS-3)

    • Handwriting

  • Assessments will include parent/child interview, observations through secure video conferencing, and completion of questionnaires which will be sent to you via e-mail which can be completed on your own computer in the comfort of your own home.

  • Reports are then written once all information sources are completed.

Parent or Teacher Consultation

  • The Digital OT can provide quality and informed consultation to parents and teachers regarding their child or student.

  • This would be very similar to in-person meetings where goals are brainstormed together, strategies are developed and recommended, and any questions specific to the child or student's development or performance at home or in school are answered.

  • Through secure video conferencing, privacy is maintained and these consultations can happen at the comfort of your own home, classroom, or cafe if you are so inclined!

One-on-One Sessions

  • The Digital OT can provide quality one-on-one therapy sessions for children.

  • These will be just like in-person, face-to-face therapy services with the only difference being through secure video conferencing.

What type of one-on-one Services can the digital OT provide?

The Digital OT can provide OT services similar to therapy that occurs in-person. This can be any of the following:

- Help improve handwriting

- Support with independence in self-care skills like dressing, feeding, and toileting

- Improve gross and fine motor skills (any movement skills that require big or small muscles in the body such as walking, jumping, manipulating buttons, trying shoelaces, etc)

- Support with emotional regulation

- Support with executive functioning such as memory, problem-solving, attention and concentration

- Provide education and formulate strategies for families, mostly parents, to be able to fully support their child with Autism, ADHD, GDD, or learning disorders
